I agree with your thinking.
Can anyone answer if the SFR sale of A$97m ADT shares went to only ONE company (ie & not stockbrokers etc. who distributed these $97m of shares to various clients)?
And when will we know for certain if it was only one beneficiary, & their identity?
If the full SFR $97m went to only one beneficiary, a Takeover possibility still very much exists.
(SFR's recent major purchases meant it could no longer have funds needed to also takeover ADT- which the market clearly recognised, but this fact did not stop the SP increasing to $3.35 on 12.10.21)
Personally, the completion of finance, & the virtual certainty the mine/s will proceed (together with imminent drill results) is a huge vote of confidence in ADT.
I was happy to increase my ADT holdings at $2.80 today.
