You miss my point - a company treats an ASX query very differently to a timed report/announcement in terms of disclosure. For example, the run-up in price prior to the China Mobile announcement factored in a deal, which ATC have acknowledged, but have said any premature announcement may prejudice negotiations. Apart from the response on the 26th this has not been mentioned again. One must assume this transaction is still in progress, and that ATC will announce the outcome at the appropriate time. I'ts your perogative to treat a response and an announcement as one and the same.
