@ChellaI don’t review and track GQG holdings. I did earlier on to forecast the level of growth, but have found the investment process applied by GQG management is very rigorous and frequently changes holdings. The GQG investment process tends to drive management to identify issues early and change within a quarter, despite managing such a large pool of money. GQG have been in and out of BABA a couple of times over a few years.
In terms of CNBC and Bloomberg watching, sounds like you need an all weather portfolio. It is nice to get away from the TV, particularly this time of year. If you are interested there is a podcast by Michael Covel called Trend Following, have a listen to what he thinks.
