A company our size does not engage Piper Sandler, they engage you. They have been following our progress and would only remotely consider working with us if there was a potential significant transaction in the future that they wanted to be a part of.

Consider their reputation as the US number 1 med tech M&A company. Why would they want to work with us? Little Anteris from Aus?

You need to read between the lines here and see the genuine significance of this. At the very least it is validation that a company of the size and elk of Piper Sandler see’s far more in us than our 70 odd million MC.

When the likes of an Edwards or a Medtronic or another interested behemoth starts to make advances we need the best advisors in our corner and PS want to be associated with any transaction involving the next generation TAVR and the big guys. It also sends a big signal to the incumbents that we will not be push overs.

Also do not underestimate the significance and importance in having SIO as our major shareholder in securing these partnerships.

Anyone worried about the fees this may cost are not thinking big enough. Whatever it costs will be returned in spades by having them on our side.
