The impact on gas is about to hit industry in Aus. My business buys Aluminium parts from UK, where the price for Alloy has been stable at £1750/mt for 18months, but since Sept has been increasing and will be at £3100/mt on Nov 1st, a 77% increase in 2 months. Approx 1/3rd is due to actual raw material increase, the balance is due to the dramatic increase in energy costs, and you can imagine the energy required to melt metals....
