My take is you are probably correct, to a point. This looks like a prelude to some sort of reorganisation. Whilst Two Oceans is being retained as a brand name, and therefore obviously the core abalone operation, the removal of anything to do with the ocean and abalone from the company name suggests they plan to cast a wider net (pardon the pun). A narrow view might be that the name removal could relate to planned on-shore abalone operations, but I think there is more to it than that. If an acquisition, or acquisitions, are planned then I expect a capital raising will be part of the transaction. Logically, the Rare Foods moniker does not limit the company to purely seafood, and I expect that is deliberate.
