As this is a mine already in production and copper prices are at elevated levels, good revenues will start immediately. I also notice that S32 has a deal that they can claw back up to $500m of the purchase price if copper prices fall significantly over the next few years.
As long as the world does not slip into a recession and commodity prices collapse I believe the $1 billion loan will be paid off very quickly with the current low interest rates. IMO Good move into copper as a lot of people have been suggesting for some time.
