UK are hinging carbon free on the back of Nuclear power. The have wind for sure but their winters are sunless and cloudy. Ive been there in winter. Its dank and dark. They are banning gas fired boilers into homes. Thats their heat source...Now Electric heat pumps on new builds . Only way they can use heat pumps is a winter baseload power supply.
