I agree with you that the Votiro tech does look worthwhile. It adds a very sensible filter (gateway) at the front of all incoming network packets. Companies definitely need protection from things like malicious email and documents so I don't see any problems with that aspect of the business. It only needs one user to drop their guard for a business to be in deep trouble within minutes. I have seen this happen several times and the companies were only saved because an alarm had been set up to be triggered and we were instantly able to quarantine the data centers. It still took an entire day to remove the malware so it's much, much better if it never poses a problem in the first place. And there is no harm in preparing for a Quantum computing future but quantum encryption will be standards driven so plenty of room to build a reputation but not a lot of room for profit.
