Port Hedland, WA is one of the centres of the extremely important iron ore mining sector that remains Oz' foremost export earner despite recent drops in the price per tonne.
Searching 'hampers Port Hedland, HwB came a creditable second in the Google photos. As usual, it was the self-care hamper that featured.
I also searched for the same for gold mining centre Kalgoorlie. Here, HwB came first, a great result.
These have small respective populations of 14500 and 30000.
However, median weekly incomes are high among adults 25-54. Some will have remained in WA (away from east coast Oz family and friends) due to Australia's #1 herrmit, 'Mad Mark' McGowan, imposing longstanding and severe border closures and quarantine requirements.
Absence making the...as the saying goes should increase demand for hampers.
