No hydrogen production is energy efficient, with the least energy efficient being green hydrogen where you convert electricty to hydrogen to convert it back again. But the demand is there, and the Hazer process is one of the most economic low emission (natural gas) or negative emissions (biogas) processes out there. It's all relative, and the markets opening up are huge.
