Mate, it’s predominantly a pip trader.
I’ve been watching this for what seems like eons.
You can actually witness the pattern in real time.
Constantly has parcels stacked 1,2,3 pips under seller offer at front of cue or trades to cycle through the cue.
A sell at 12.5 for example then similar if not same volume almost instantly stacks into the buy, either straight into the buy offer or spread through the stacks.
A buy a pip down and this almost immediately stacks into the sell, sometimes 2 pips higher initially then drops 1 pip if it’s quite for say a few hours during a session.
No doubt Hartleys have been selling down but i also have no doubt a trader has been here for awhile taking advantage of low volume, tight bracket sp and slow gaining interest from retail.
The trader benefits the accumulators so not all bad.
The ability to pip trade at will, should grind to a halt for awhile, once we receive the hopeful positive DD results.
News flow and higher retail interest creates unpredictable sp fluctuations.
