Well spotted IMO, we should have been informed of this offer back in August. After all that is market sensitive information.
At the very least GCY need to postpone the FFR merger to give all GCY shareholders the ability to make an informed, considered choice, without the urgency caused by the impending FFR merger timeline. The ball appears to be in NRW's court. They have a huge influence over the outcome now that First Sentier has openly supported the WGX.
Would be interested to know how many people on HC would vote for or against the T/O. I would vote in favor of the WGX bid but I still see the FFR merger as potentially being more lucrative in the medium term.
