im a consultant and charge mining companies $250 an hour to press a few buttons on a computer & print out some advice for them whilst holding their hands. they don't complain, they pay the fee and thank me for my work done. i should be rewarded for busting my nuts over the last 25 years & all the sacrifice. whether my hourly rate is fair is another story, but that's what the market pays.
if you don't like the salaries paid to directors then you shouldn't have invested to begin with. all their benefits and free shares are transparent long before you hit the buy button on the ASX
