It's only the energy equivalent which is meant here, I'm sure Hazer wouldn't actually use hydrogen to power the process in a commercial setting. What a waste it would be.
All their reactors have been electrically powered, lending themselves to renewable energy sources. They've also investigated using waste heat from industrial processes, which makes real sense.
