interesting read, I find the comments below it interesting, as a reasonably successful punter it’s hard to imagine not having fixed odds, then you see the derision with which some of the commenters are describing them, they truly don’t understand how it works. They don’t understand that a large bet in a small pool will not necessarily move the market if the bookmaker chooses to take a stance (obviously with small pool tote betting it will) there wil need to be a lot of education but once up and running it will fly! I’m more confident in BET than ever….and just thinking about it again that’s before these bookmakers start laying off some of the bigger fixed bets back jnto the tote pool to minimize risk…..BET gets the fixed odds bite then the sportech bite, they are getting a lot of bites at the wagering dollar (as are the NJ horsemen, so it’s a win win) lol anyway I’m rambling….
