BHP can dust it off as much as they want for as long as they want but I doubt that they will get hold of the keys at POS.

It is clear that AF is interested in developing nickel assets and I am sure that his plan, whatever it is, does not include selling off his stake in POS. His blocking stake, which could be easily and quickly increased, is a key to any takeover activity.

However, a ruthless and cheeky, yet serious, bid for POS from BHP imo would be a good thing as it would:

• Get the SP up to reasonable levels about of the repetitive rut that it is tracking through,
• Clear a lot of the cr@p activity from manipulators out of the POS SP pipes,
• Give the BOD the wake up call that it needs to extract the digit the get a move on, and
• Put BMM into a position where they need to consider their longer term plans and come out of the grass here i.e. put up or shut up.
