Yes it seems to me we can guess all day, and probably will, right up to the time of an official announcement.
My guess is that Yat has a rough time in mind but will not commit to give himself flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances in this rapidly changing industry. Quite sure though it will not be before he feels he has scale on his side.
In the end, the place and timing of listing is a strategic decision and we have very little information to base a guess on. There are probably a heap of issues that affect a listing choice that we are not even aware of, as issues.
Interesting reading speculation though, gives us something to talk about.
Once it happens though, and we look back, we will no doubt agree that it was an inspired choice - like just about every other choice Yat makes.
