if you used bpay, I believe the funds are deemed to be received the same day the payment is made, regardless of how long it actually takes, so I think you are well inside the cut off.
if not, you will be refunded what you have paid.
sometimes via a cheque, so not always super convenient, but they are obligated to get the money back to you one way or another if your application is not successful.
