applecart charts are only unsubstantiated if you have no idea on how to read a chart.

And your further comment "I see little that is believable in chart forecasts" would only indicate to me that you have no idea how to actually read charts.
Charts are actually peoples emotions for the record.fear greed and hope are just 3 emotions you can find in a chart
