I believe the US market has characteristics that HUMM are not comfortable with regulation wise, vs UK or Canada, I am sure I read or heard that somewhere. And its also the main battle ground, so they are looking for less crowded spaces I would think in terms of the reasoning recently mentioned for Canada and UK being to them a natural extension to Ireland.

HUMM has not delivered before, so market wants more runs on the board before equity buyers get excited.

Don't forget that HUMM has the Dough partnership so they can still have a presence in US without being in US, this now relies on Dough undertaking the customer acquisition to build a large base to launch into.
