Just as a back up to my previous comment I did email Ed . I can't actually post a copy of what I asked because i realised i put it on their website .
But I asked about the possible problems of flooding when mining on the salt lake and i also asked what he thought an economical resource size would be and grades. I also mentioned Goongarrie lady mine that was flooded in the past this is his response.

" Thanks for your email. Other companies have successfully mined in salt lakes such as at St Ives (picture attached) and Red October. I don’t know all of the details but walls can be built around the pit and water pumped out to another location. We don’t have a minimum size deposit estimated yet it is too early days but it would need to be plus 1M ounces I would think and several grams per tonne. Goongarrie Lady was different in that it was at the very edge of the salt lake and with no overburden so it is not comparable. The wall did not fail there it was stopped because of flooding following a cyclonic event. His response was pretty prompt and clarified a few things also lends weight to possible future expectations of the size of the project.
