Rather than be jealous I am more grateful that I was born when I was and had experiences the young are no longer allowed to enjoy, thanks to big brother governments and agitation by the woke brigade. The young ones these days aren't allowed to roam the countryside with a 22 or air rifle chasing rabbits, to wear a knife on your belt (to skin the rabbits), to play with fire crackers, to ride in the back of the ute, to swim and fish wherever you wanted to, to camp anywhere in the bush or on a beach overnight. To light a fire and cook the rabbit or fish. To be just either male or female, to have a mind of our own so that you could create a dream and try to live that dream. To have a game of cowboys and indians on a real pony. (Greta doesn't have dreams, she has nightmares.) Definitely not jealous or envious, just sorry that her attitude and brainwashing by stupid parents made her such an angry child. I'm glad I could give my children the best of what I had while growing up and sorry my grandkids have missed out. It seems now I have to spend time convincing them that the world is not about to end. Not that it was all beer and skittles. Times were tough but we made the best of what we had. We had freedom. We had individuality. Priceless.

lol -- ' back in the day, when I was young --- rah de ra. Give it a rest . Back in the day was it common for grown men to be afraid of what a young girl had to say ? To have the confidence to stand up and be heard , her parents must be pretty amazing people. Far from the brainwashing type. I back youth, vitality and courage over a mocking, bully type mentality any day. As far as picking on a girl , I should add cowardice as well Shame on you
