interesting times ahead for people telecom

Hasn’t seemed much point posting on People Telecom (PEO) recently, but with: (1) extensive presentations to institutions and larger brokers to commence next week; (2) the launch of its wireless broadband and internet phone service (VoIP) on the 20th September; and (3) an advertising campaign promoting the “Swiftel” consumer brand (offering voice, broadband and mobile products) set to commence shortly, perhaps we can expect a return of interest to PEO in coming weeks.

A detailed presentation (copies of which will be available via the ASX announcement service), including an outline of revenue and business drivers, is to be a part of the roadshow, which kicks off with Citibank on the 9th of September.

The Company is projecting consolidated group revenues of $100m+ for 2005. The picture management will be presenting is of a strong and growing company whose balance sheet (now that the People Telecom accounting practice's have been implemented across the group) is exceptionally clean.

Interesting times ahead.
