With regard to the request for replacement of the CEO and
associated parties, this has been in the wind for some time. John Jones is one of the most respected gold men in
Kalgoorlie and has been for 40-odd years. For him,it's not
just about dollars and cents. It's about looking after
loyal shareholders. Sure the share price has doubled recently-but that's all about Casposo, and you can thank
John for that. The CEO and a lot of the board wanted to use our money to buy Beaconsfield. John fought it tooth and nail. Thankfully.
Another bone of contention where John has been fighting our corner is in regard to our CEO going around in Sydney trying to raise funds to make up a shortfall in funding costs for Casposo, at a discount, rather than offering the opportunity to we shareholders first.Loyalty is a two-way street.
The reason we are in the great position we are in today is down to John Jones and his discipline in holding onto our money and then making sure it was deployed at the optimal time on a first class asset at a knock-down price. The current CEO, capable in many areas as he might be,doesn't live and breathe gold in the same way John does.
When it comes right down to it,I'll back John any day.
