I think we will make higher highs and higher lows over a period of time before that breakout happens - pundits give it various timeframes. When it happens it will likely go parabolic.
Problem is that we have continued with money-printing as a solution and that debt burden has reached mind-numbing proportions but there may be a little more accommodation for this policy. At some point the whole thing will break down with runaway inflation and a breakout in POPMs.
