Just thinking out loud here in relation to MB chip and/or corporate transaction.

If the technical update is related to the company gathering enough of a data set to go to market and thereby part of said technical update involves the company talking to multiple interested parties, would that be enough of a reason to have the stock suspended?

Even with NDAs, if you are talking to multiple engineers and executives from say 5 or 6 potential acquirers, this surely presents a large enough insider trading risk to keep the stock suspended?

Keen to hear others thoughts on this? I am not particularly familiar with the ASXs rules.
