Hey RichAnne, in short I have NFI which way this is going to play out. It's an enigma wrapped in a riddle, a political foot-ball kerfuffle and a down-right free-for-all conundrum, IMO! I still hold out hope however, that the main players on the Government's side (i.e, Angus Taylor) being just one example, keep promoting the "technology not taxes" approach and the advantages of Australia maintaining it's "energy edge". Whilst the world is in a flux, with global energy prices going through the roof, we can only hope there are those who can not only see, but also ensure, that we take the right opportunities to "transition" in an orderly fashion as we look towards a net zero 2050 future. In other words,I hold out hope that we have leaders who will have the courage to promote projects, such as Pep-11, which (if gas is discovered) could shore up Australia's gas resources on the East Coast for the next 30 years, whilst also potentially being capable of reducing a stupendous amount of Australia's emissions. Let's hope that common sense prevails!
