Sometimes a Bill is proposed, events or the political landscape change, and the Bill will get delayed, ignored or superseded. And right now there’s a great example.

In the Autumn Assembly 2018 the Democrats proposed a Bill for transparency of the Parliament’s expenditure. It was adopted in the Spring 2019 Session. It got buried ie nothing happened and it was repealed when the new Parliament was convened earlier this year.

Re: levels of influence and power. I was specifically referring to … foreign defence and national security policies, and law and currency and financial policies, remain the responsibility of the Danish Government and Parliament.

That is the Greenland Committee of the Danish Parliament has the absolute right and even obligation to have their say about the Uranium Bill and I didn’t realise this committee existed until last week…. Live and learn.
