Yeah, same here...
I also have started off with the initial allocation of 387 shares in MyState Limited.

I'm not sure if you had been keeping an eye on TPX (Tasmanian Trustees) before the merger with MyState Financial, but their share price was relatively solid between the range of $2.60 to $2.80.

It appears that the new MYS sp will follow much of the same pattern and I expect fairly low volumes will be the order of the day. In other words, it could be said that MYS shares will be somewhat 'illiquid'.

As a result, you may find that this particular stock will not attract a great deal of interest from the many short term - and day traders present on HC.

Their first dividend, posted for October 2009, is 10c per share, fully franked. Let's hope that will be repeated in another six months and equal (if not better) this very first installment.

Finally, it is good to note that those of us who chose to hang on to the new MYS shares are already in front (on paper), of those who elected to have their allocation sold off at just $2.50 per share!
