There's avery good book by Dr Alexander Elder called
"sell and sell short"
which is not primarily dedicated to short selling, as the title might suggest, but actually focuses on when to sell...
seems ridiculous but it's easy to enter a trade with optomistic without having any idea when you will sell to take a profit or close out if it goes against you....
It's pricey but worth it...
