While I somewhat agree with you, none of the examples you mentioned are edible. The Australian government has allowed foreign companies to amass huge tracts of arable land, primary producers and other food related industries for short term profit and little thought for the future. Australians should control our food growing and production capacity, not foreign companies with competing interests.
