The point here is that through owning 15% of a company, 1 shareholder should be considered to have opportunity for board representation. It does not however allow 1 shareholder to control the board. If Lew wants to control the board he should have a proportional controlling stake in Myer.
not saying that Lew wouldn’t be good/bad for Myer as a whole. But I don’t like it when someone portrays themselves as a victim and a martyr to get something for nothing.
