the idea of using natural gas for hydrogen production is too stupid for words..

the huge amount of gas used to process hydrogen from water would force retail prices to astronomical levels. Its hugely uncompetitive and the carbon emitted during processing is hugely polluting. Govt subsidies for this loss making industry will sum to squillions. We can name it now: Scotty’s folly.

underpinned by a delusion that he’s god’s gift to Australia, Scotty the Failure gets suckered at every turn.

Surely you recognise the inefficiencies & ho wmuch raw material is required.

Nuclear solves ALL your problems if electrification is the goal (which starts off its own issues re pollution).
