To add something new to this forum, I have hoped into my Delorian and done some time travel in order to think of where we are heading in the future with stocks. ( I could not travel INTO the future as I only purchased the povery pack model which allows time travel back)
* Previous big boom - dot coms
* Most recent Mining
* Commodities
Where are we heading now? What's the flavour of the month?
IMHO the GFC has cleared the slate in many ways and also given many of us opportunities that we may not otherwise have had.
I believe the whole Green Energy movement is the one which will kick off, and climax at one point or another.
Along with green energy, I believe there will come an age of accountability of energy users to account for their carbon emmisions etc.
This could IMO be a great opp for INT and others like it for the following reasons:
* Energy companies can replace the army of human "meter readers" with electronic technology
* By tracking live usage of energy utilities - providers could bill customers monthly instead of 1/4erly thus putting money in their pocket more often to invest or whatever they do with it.
* With peak energy costs to rise, customers with this metering could "fine tune" their usage to save on energy costs and reduce carbon emissions.
In the news daily you can see the focus on carbon trading, emisions and rising energy prices and usage. If INT could market their product and spin it in that direction I believe it could do very well.
Mai_Chai's post outlining all of the deals and trials INT have locked in highlight the high level of interest INT's product/service is enjoying, if only they can sustain this, grow and produce some consistent revenue I think this could be a winner.
