Some money may have flown to mining stocks seeing them go more than 100% in a day on China energy or steel shortage, “outstanding” discoveries and the like! The inflation balloon, wealth effect of rising property and stock prices, and govt handouts have likely given more chips for people to play with and they may like ST catchy headlines.
Sometimes the heartache of seeing the hare run ahead while you are the tortoise is not easy.
