Well yes, precisely. Further to this..
Not only are deep Geothermal holes expensive, they also have a high failure rate. (VULs holes need to be be very precisely guided at extreme depth)
No one knows as yet what the flow rates of these wells will be.. the figures in the PFS could be very optimistic.
Lithium recovery rates from the low grade Brine could be far lower than PFS figures, making the project uneconomical.
Thats without even going into issues on the Geothermal power production side of things.
