BNPL companies notoriously chew up capital, and lots of it as they start up. Of the most recent start up BNPL's only APT is likely to make a profit but they are in a race to capture market share and adjacencies before the big players like PayPal, Visa and Mastercard take back market share and crimp the margins APT charges the retailers.
