Over here in rural Japan some folks still eat Grasshoppers - and i have to say they are actually really good... They are boiled and sauteed in a soy sauce, sugar, sake, ginger sauce and eaten as finger food... Nutritional value is off the charts as well very high in calcium and protein - they were a very important part of the rural people's diets after WW2 when there was a shortage of proteins in Japan...
