It means that if WGX get 50.1% approval by 7pm sydney time today.. the offer increases to 3 for 11 and that the FFR deal does not go through on Monday. So if majors are voting in favor now for the offer they will likely get the 50.1% in the next couple of hours. If thats the case GCY board need to declare superior offer and end the merger with FFR.
Its a bit of a catch 22 as board are trying to say they cant get out and dont vote.. meaning the 1 for 4 deal stands and they dont have to announce it as a superior offer.
Someone needs to pull the trigger here and make this happen. Enough playing possum.
