For those interested, here are some of my observations from cap raises I've been involved in/kept an eye on the past year...

No. 1: NAB, April 2020 @ $14.15 (Discount to trading price of $15.18 at the time).
I invested very aggressively in the banks mid-2020 (WBC @15 and NAB around 16) and requested max allocation of NAB SPP. Waited to hear results of allocation and was holding off buying more on market until results of allocation were released. This waiting proved costly. Allocation was scaled back and retail shareholders were then in a scramble had to buy back on market which quickly pushed prices higher.

No. 2: Core Lithium CXO, August 2021 @0.31
Was looking to enter at .28c before cap raise but held off to do more research. Eventually entered at .38 and .44. After cap raise, the share price went on a solid run up to where it sits now at .57c (Nearly double cap raise price!)

Although every cap raise is different, it is good to be reminded of some positive examples from the past.

Also, AZL cap raise in the news will bring attention the co. at a time when interest in renewables/ lithium has never been higher.

Looking forward to Glasgow this week. The strategic renewables/ lithium focus of governments should bode well for patient investors.

    Holding tight.
    IMHO DYOR

    Enjoy the weekend all.
    RG.
