A few doctors listened to my heart with a stethoscope and it is a much more efficient methodology than the same for lungs (we all know this!). That got me thinking, I wonder if our AI could be modified to asses and triage heart sounds if somehow attached to the stethoscope. Things like leaky valves, and other situations that frequently give tell tale sounds that could be picked up quickly. Obviously I’m no cardiologist but perhaps worth investigating.

Anything a stethoscope can do, our AI should be able to better with at least equal or greater accuracy. It would also make the AI an invaluable triage tool.
