Glad to see you're still on the ship and I think it's good you've learned not to panic sell on short term fluctuations. However I think it's unwise to completely 'set and forget' any moderate risk investments like MNS. While I'm excited and optimistic for IM3's battery plant (and by extension MNS) and am enjoying the current run up to 45c, it isn't yet a revenue-generating and sustainable business; we are still in the warm-up phase of what can become an upcoming multi-billion, ASX 300 company, not will. As such, regular monitoring of the company's progress, the sector as a whole and related geopolitics/market sentiments is prudent even when SP is currently up.

Ignoring it and fully trusting the company to just succeed and be re-valued, even with an improved track record, renders a good stock pick back into a gamble often rigged in favour of the house. That's why I play an active role in explaining and deep researching and sharing to new investors, because the way a company's shares truly goes up is when more investors discover and become interested in the company than investors losing interest and taking profits moving on. These newer investors would also need to have a continuous majority consensus of the future value and execution strength of the company to reduce volatility, which is the virtuous cycle of predictable SP movement that lets institutional investors feel comfortable to join in and further bump up the trade volume/price.

Just a thought. I'm fairly confidentabout MNS' future but I'm not sure of it, and if things go south and you were on holiday mode you might pay a costly delayed exit. Alternatively you might've already hit your preferred exit price on a spike but again because of not checking others profit take first and push price back down to the median before you realise. Rational, risk-managed investing methods is hard for our monkey brains, but in my experience so far, outperforms the alternative approaches.

    Have a good weekend all!
