Is it really a contrarian indicator? Is it not just common sense? If you move from net long to net short then there is more selling than buying, so to speak, so the natural result is a drop in price. And vice versa.
So is it really a contrarian indicator or is it just a proxy for the gold price?
Useful information though, just calling a spade a spade. Or did I end up with a shovel with which to dig myself a very deep hole, LOL?
