, very difficult to fund new Li projects, esp last few yrs. Most also want to de-risk their investments given technology failures of others. Staged approach provides certainty with low risk for all. Better to get into prodn than talk about it. 12ktpa next.

Another indication of why the market is short. $AGY has been working on this project for years and is just announcing 2K MT progress. In a market that will be 1,000K MT in 2025, is a 2K plant really “commercial” production? Every little bit helps but scale matters.
