I have done metal detecting underground at Ophir many years ago. Back then there were about 3 or 4 small operators along that underground mine that still operates and offers tour guides down its mine.
I've done lot camping on lake Barrendong so am familiar with the area. Am, actually planning to go for a drive to see Boda and Kaiser or get as close as I can as I never visited that actual spot despite passing very close to it.

Will let you know in case we are staying overnight somewhere near we can have a cold one or two..
