I wasn't implying QAN was unsafe I was making the point safety ratings are totally meaningless. In fact they have ben totally meaningless for about 50 years. The risk of death is effectively zero on any large carrier operating in the developed world.
The QAN unions have been spreading BS about "unsafe' maintenance for 25 years since the airline were privatised. It has no factual basis.
