The article uses the same old stuff that has previously been posted and debated here before on HC.

There are two main issues, if someone believes they are somehow protected from Covid-19 by taking Ivermectin, they are less likely to take more appropriate action to protect against Covid-19, some have died thinking Ivermectin would save them.

The overdose issue may have arisen because the dosage for Covid-19 is higher than its' normal dosage, and if people are self medicating, then the risks are increased.
