I hope people are doing well, but from the traders I've spoken to at events none of them do what you say they're doing (hold a parcel and trade a parcel). For background I worked for the 2nd largest online broker in Australia for 8 years and setup their premium desk.
Almost all the traders I've spoken to would have made a killing if they had just held on to one particular stock they had traded at one point in time. The odds of them knowing what that one stock was though were slim to none. The reality is that finding that one stock similar to AfterPay is pretty slim. If you run AfterPay through any of the financial models of the last twenty years it would have come up as a sell, because it's burning cash to make revenue. Things change, if you can predict how then you will do well.
