We already have a nuclear industry delivering medical and other isotopes through Lucas Heights. Do we need or want nuclear power which currently, based on the new UK reactors, would cost twice that of coal sourced electricity and quadruple the cost of renewables. It may be worth considering if they get thorium to work or perhaps those mini reactors but they have been talking about those for almost half a century.
